Day 1
Arrival at Few & Far Luvhondo, South Africa

Arrive at the small airport of Polokwane in the far northern part of South Africa. Your hosts for the next 4 nights will welcome you here and transfer you to the Soutpansberg Mountain Range. With the private welcome ceremony you will dive into the culture of the Venda tribe and the energy of the mountain range. Spend the afternoon on your first drive through the reserve hopefully spotting some of the wildlife that calls this conservation area its home.

Giraffe Tracking at Few & Far Luvhondo, South Africa

Start your day with an exceptional giraffe tracking experience. Your private guide will navigate the tracks of these large animals and share all his wisdom and knowledge of their behaviour and habitat. A bush breakfast will be a welcomed reward after the tracking. Spend the afternoon cycling along the riverbed and exploring different parts of the reserve before a quick cool-off in Few & Far Luvhondo’s pool - a pool with one of Africa’s most exceptional views. Prepare for an evening of culture, tradition and fun - our local tribe will enchant you and take you on a journey of their traditions and beliefs leading into a heritage bush dinner.

Day 3
Conservation Activities & Sleep-Out at Few & Far Luvhondo, South Africa

Spend the morning with our conservation team learning what it takes to look after such a large conservation project and area. Join them in snare sweeping, geo-tagging or analysis of leopard camera traps. Why not spend this afternoon dedicated to holistic wellness in a traditional style in our on-site Vudhziki spa. This evening (weather permitting) you will have the unique opportunity to spend a night under the starlit African canopy on our sleep-out deck. Your guide will cook with you around the campfire and share stories of the African bush before you climb under big duvets and marvel at the spectacle in the African night sky.

Day 4
Explorations at Few & Far Luvhondo

Wake up to the sound of birds and the soft early morning winds. The fire will be lit and a hot coffee or tea waiting for you. Choose to either hike back or take a game drive back to the lodge. This afternoon can be either spent relaxing at the lodge, or on another adventure in the reserve - perhaps one of our famous hikes to some rock paintings? We will make sure you don’t miss your last sunset and will create a magical last African sundowner for you with magnificent views over the Soutpansberg Mountains. Enjoy an exclusive 5-course tasting menu with wine pairing for your last night with Few & Far Luvhondo.

Benguerra Island, Mozambique

Today, you’ll go where time stands still – a magical Indian Ocean Haven – Mozambique, We will transfer you for your early morning flight to Johannesburg from where you will catch your flight to Vilanculous. Once in Vilanculous, embark on a breathtakingly scenic helicopter flight over turquoise blue waters and exposed sandbanks to your idyllic beach getaway.

    • Mozambique features a tropical climate. Summers (November to April) are hot and humid, with temperatures ranging from 77-95°F. The wet season brings heavy rainfall. Winters (May to October) are cooler, 68-86°F, with dry and pleasant conditions, ideal for travel and exploration.
